French toast

French toast is a bread-based meal that is soaked in beaten eggs and milk before being pan-fried. “Eggy bread,” “Bombay toast,” “gypsy toast,” and “poor knights” are some of the alternative and variation names.

BRUNCH

Eggs Royale

Eggs Royale is similar to Eggs Benedict or Florentine, except instead of ham or spinach, it utilises smoked salmon. The sauce takes a few minutes longer to come together because it’s made with cold butter rather than warm, melted butter, but there’s significantly less risk of it splitting – well worth the time, we think.
